Diego is so obsessed with trains. He says choo-choo every time we pass the tracks near our house. My dad got him a Thomas and Friends DVD, and since we've been spending the days at his house while our house gets some work done, Diego is always asking for the movie. He watched it about 3 times one day. I also downloaded a bunch of Thomas videos onto his Kindle Fire (don't worry, I didn't forget the Angry Birds videos).
So in the spirit of going out more, Hubby and I took him on an authentic and historical train ride 40 minutes from where we live. Diego wasn't sure what to make of it at first and then he started with his "choo-choos". But then the train tooted its real & authentic whistle, and it scared the bejesus out of little Diego.
It did not sound like Thomas....

We have a similar train ride within an hour from us. I was thinking it would be a really cool thing to do also.
